In partnership with Nicholas Plewman Architects, we tweaked and finessed the mobile tents by adding leather trim, finials, proper zips, carpets and access panels for servicing while ensuring maximum guest privacy.
THE BRIEF
This Serengeti-based mobile camping operation consisting of 2 camps of 6 guest tents and two dining tents. In 2004, we were commissioned to re-imagine the rather drab and basic camping experiences on offer in East Africa.
THE INSPIRATION
In partnership with Nicholas Plewman Architects, we tweaked and finessed the mobile tents by adding leather trim, finials, proper zips, carpets and access panels for servicing while ensuring maximum guest privacy and creating a luxurious camping experience ahead of its time.
THE RESULT
The result is the ultimate in luxury camping with delicious campfire food.
