The Brief
This is a project that remains very close to our hearts as Koos Bekker and Karen Roos were our first clients under Fox Browne Creative. We were hired in 2009 to guide and advise them on the operational and hospitality set up of the hotel.
The Inspiration
We drew our inspiration from the strong Dutch culture that the owners wanted to preserve and celebrate. We ran tall he initial training and induction of all the staff, entrenching the unique “Kultuur” of Babylonstoren. A highlight for us was the opportunity to assist Maranda Strydom on the selection of some of the original F & B equipment at Babel. She is a real inspiration.
The Result
We were delighted and honoured to be part of the initial set up team. It has been incredible to watch the Babylonstoren team constantly push this business to new heights.
