Simplicity is about subtracting the obvious and adding the meaningful.
— John Maeda

Since joining Fox Browne Creative as a technical and creative designer, I have worked on a number of exciting projects across Southern Africa. These projects include the implementation and installation of interiors for The Delight Hotel - Namibia, AndBeyond Nxabega – Botswana, andBeyond Phinda Homestead – South Africa, and Desert Grace – Namibia.

Surrounded by many possibilities and experiences, people inspire my curiosity to learn and discover the authentic and imperfections of my environment to make it more interesting and beautiful. I believe in creating meaningful experiences through design while keeping it simple but significant.

In 2014, I was a finalist in the PG Bison 1.618 Education Initiative competition, created to recognise the future interior and industrial designers, architects and key decision makers in the South African Design Industry. The brief was to redesign the modern extension of the Johannesburg Art Gallery, South Africa.

As an enthusiastic team player, I am always ready to contribute whenever possible while still learning from those around me. I have a passion for putting beautiful things together and have a love of travelling and discovering new and exciting places.
