The Brief
While working for andBeyond, our brief was to create a traditional Eastern Cape farmstead but with a contemporary and soulful interior.
The Inspiration
This intimate sole use farmhouse has the iconic ball and claw furniture prevalent in Eastern Cape farmsteads. The oxblood red colour was chosen to paint all the vintage furniture to unify and update these nostalgic pieces.
The Result
The lodge ran successfully with extremely happy guests for eight years and was recently refurbished by the new owners who have changed the look completely.
