Chris and I founded Fox Browne Creative in 2009 with a clear mission: to make a meaningful impact through hospitality design. My background as a hotelier has been instrumental in bridging the gap between operations and design, creating inspired spaces with gracious hospitality, with a focus on exceptional service for both guests and staff alike.
Before launching Fox Browne Creative, I served as the Chief Operating Officer for andBeyond Travel, the world's largest experiential travel company. During my tenure, I played a pivotal role in expanding the company's portfolio from 4 lodges to 40 across 7 countries in Africa, India, Latin America, and the Middle East. One of my proudest achievements was overseeing the development and operations of Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, recognised as the best hotel in Africa and the second-best in the world by Condé Nast Traveler in 2004/2005.
Notably, I spearheaded the development of the andBeyond Tanzanian lodge circuit between 1997 and 2005, an innovative and award-winning luxury eco-lodge initiative comprising 6 lodges and flying safaris. Introducing a pioneering B2C marketing and distribution strategy, I broke new ground in the industry. By the time of my departure in 2009, I had built and led a team of over 2,000 staff members.
Over the past 15 years with Chris at Fox Browne Creative, we've been privileged to design, develop, project-manage, and open multiple award-winning lodges for leading players in the African luxury lodge sector. Additionally, I have provided strategic consultation to ensure the ongoing success of these ventures.
