Every room needs a touch of black just as it needs at least one antique piece.
— Jan Showers

I began my journey at Fox Browne Creative as a technical designer after completing a bachelor's degree in Environmental and Geographical Science (UCT), a Postgraduate Diploma in Management (UCT), and finally a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design with distinction (GDC). My role has evolved into a project interior designer, overseeing projects from the concept stage through technical design, project management, and installation.

I have worked on and managed numerous refurbishments of lodges, boutique hotels, and private homes in South Africa, Kenya, Zambia, and Mauritius. From the bustle of a hotel in Nairobi to the remoteness of a bush camp in North Luangwa, I strive to ensure every property receives the attention it deserves. Collaborating closely with local artisans and suppliers in various countries enriches the narrative of each design, creating inspired spaces.

Breathing new energy and life into an existing space and finding beauty in old pieces of furniture have become beloved parts of my design process. Repurposing original pieces not only reduces our carbon footprint but also tells a unique story for each property.
