At the time, we were inspired by what the Campana Brothers in Brazil were doing with furniture, and this inspired our popular hippo tables.
THE BRIEF
In 2006, we had the opportunity to open this nine-room lodge on a Greenfield site, as the sister lodge to andBeyond Xudum Okavango Delta Lodge. The brief was to create a whimsical and ethereal interior inspired by the Xaranna lagoon.
THE INSPIRATION
Our inspiration came from the pale pinks and greens of the lily pads floating in the lagoon.

THE RESULT
Although ten years old, this romantic tented camp with sweeping views opening up onto a seasonal lagoon is serene, calming and soft on the eye in an often harsh environment.
